Daniel Spring is putting the finishing touches on his ‘Mirage’ polished stainless steel vanity table & mirror, to be exhibited at next week’s Walpole Crafted showcase at Somerset House.
The new piece is a sculptural piece whose reflectiveness will play with the eye, and marks a return to Daniel’s roots as a collectible silversmith.
We are honoured to be part of the ‘Crafted: Makers of the Exceptional’ showcase, and really looking forward to seeing the work of our fellow British craftspeople.

Recognising that many luxury brands rely heavily on the work and experience of artists and craft makers, Walpole developed the mentorship programme Crafted in 2007 with the Princes Trust and support from Arts & Business and American Express. The programme provides one-to-one mentorship and a series of educational workshops for a small number of carefully selected craft makers from a wide range of disciplines. Crafted fosters a sense of entrepreneurialism and provides opportunities to help establishing craft businesses to grow, yet at the same time preserve their talents and unique skills to pass onto future generations of craft makers.
